Job title:
Lead Engineer

Experience Required-10-15 yrs

Education-BE/ME Electrical/ENTC/Instrumentation

PURPOSE:
Testing professional who can support principal architect towards designing solutions to testing problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understanding of function concepts:
Execute Test Architect solutions as per Roadmaps.
Based on VOE, Identify testing architectures needed to execute Business Road Map.
Built capability internal / External to deliver Test Automation
Design and Development of Test Automation Libarary file using C#.
Collaborate with Quality Organization to plan TTF use cases so supporting architecture / systems
Collaborate with execution team'
Make Software predictability / Stability should become integral part of every project/program execution
Review with Test specialist & Test Engg Managers and make sure executions is well supported by test architecture
Drive functionality Built up in test architecture in sync with sw architecture
Drive early engagements with external partners for ETE Testing deliverables.
Test Execution : Work with the Subsystem ( mainly SW / Platform Architechts /IOT Architects ) to understand the Software / Platform. Plan
Technical understanding of full system / Simulation type / Load case / Product attribute etc. for existing product categories
Evaluate and Report engineering tools for HIL & HMI Test Automation
Review and Update Manual & Automation Test Standard
Review and Update best practices

Application of Technical tools:

Evaluate and Report engineering tools for HIL & HMI Test Automation
Review and Update Test Manual & Automation Standard

TECHNICAL=

Basic knowledge of Embedded Testing
Basic in Test Management Tools.
ISTQB Foundation level certified
Elementary knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals and Engineering concepts

MANAGERIAL

Basic Awareness of all Products / Platforms of Whirlpool

2- Understands regional differences in product specifications / needs (Function Specific)

Able to linkage Component level spec with VoC

Key Deliverables

Patents/ Research / External presentations:
Presentation in Test Automation form ( HIL
Simulation Based Test )
Knowledge Management:
Lead technical forum across globe to share knowledge and best practices
Patents/ Research / External presentations:
Guide V&V enginners to Publish/Present papers in technical forms
Should have strong external networks and be able to represent organization in external technical forums
