About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the smooth flow of financial transactions.


Your responsibilities will include organizing books of accounts, managing invoices and receipts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.


Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:


  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording transactions and ensuring accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure tax payment and returns are filed and executed on a timely basis.

Accounts Payable:


  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments and backup data.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable:


  • Generate and send client invoices and statements whenever required
  • Follow up on overdue payments and maintain accurate records of receivables.

Financial Reporting:


  • Close books and prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly basis.
  • Provide support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Audit Assistance:


  • Support statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors and in due diligence process by providing necessary documentation.
  • Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or professional certifications (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a must.
  • Knowledge of working with tally for raising invoices, debit and credit notes.
  • Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Good practical knowledge of accounting including taxation.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders effectively.

Salary:
₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
