In Macquarie Asset Management, you will join a global asset manager that be part of a is involved in end-to-end work in the areas of accounting, management reporting and financial and tax reporting.

Join a team that is trusted by institutions, pension funds, governments, and individuals to manage billions in assets globally.


What role will you play?
In this role, you will lead projects such as implementation of new accounting standards, group restructures and acquisitions.

The role also requires extensive engagement with global finance and business teams as well as external stakeholders such as auditors meaning well demonstrated communication and presentation skills will serve you well.


As a key member of the team, you will help identify and communicate key risk indicators, issues, trends, and insights across Macquarie Asset Management.

You will collaborate with members of the global Risk team on risk management activities.

You will also have the opportunity to propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives that transform the way we manage risk.


What you offer

  • Someone who has led projects and will be able to demonstrate a continuous focus on improving processes to deliver efficiencies with appropriate risk management practices and controls.
  • Qualified CA or CPA with 24 years of relevant post qualification experience.
  • Good understanding of reporting requirements under IFRS, particularly standards that are relevant to the banking industry.
  • Prior experience in the banking, financial services, public accounting, and stock broking firms will be preferred.
