Job Description Summary:

As part of the senior technical leadership team, you will contribute to the mission of the software function by leading teams on delivery of quality products and innovation, driving a modern, efficient and cutting-edge Validation and Verification strategy and implementation.

In this role you will identify, recommend, strategize and lead the implementation of various testing techniques, test automation processes and tools, that will optimize and improve the quality of testing across the test pyramid and in line with DevOps strategies.

Essential Responsibilities

Understand the vision to design and integrate quality within Software Development Life Cycle.
A thorough understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
Deep understand of Behaviourdriven Development paradigm and strategizing Test Automation in the BDD context.
Proven experience of Nonfunctional testing, majorly Multitenancy Testing, Security Testing, Availability and Performance Testing.
Mentoring the SW Dev team on Testability of Architecture/Design at various phases of SDLC.
Lead Verification and Validation activities to enable quality and timely release of the product.

Desired Technical skills / experience:

Industry experience of 12+ years in the Software V&V role, preferably with a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) discipline.
Prove experience of 5+ yrs. in Test Automation Leadership role.
Proven Experience in executing and leading testing in Behaviour Driven Development paradigm.
Thorough understanding of modern DevOps, including CI,CD and CT, preferably in containerized deployment scenario.
Expertise with Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
Experience related to software design for reliability, setting and demonstrating reliability targets in software. Though understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) aspects.
Expertise in Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process embracing test automation. Experience of using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI ecosystem and Git source code control system is highly desirable.
Excellent knowledge with test execution estimates, design test plans & strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases and defect lifecycle handling.
Advanced level of experience with scripting languages
JavaScript, Python, CSS3, HTML5, JSON/XML.
Handson knowledge of JavaScriptbased Test Automation tools like WebComponent Tester, WebDriverIO etc. is highly desirable.
Knowledge of API test automation, XML/Json Verification etc. using tools like REST Assured, Selenium / Cucumber, Postman/ Protractor, / JMeter, / LoadRunner etc. is highly desirable.
Expertise of Database concepts, SQL / NoSQl, advanced SQL.
Experience in writing high quality, readable, reusable, testable code.
Experience with Software design patterns and methodologies such as objected oriented design.
Experience with Agile Development environment. Good understanding of the concept of Behaviour Driven Development.
Experience with SAFe/ Agile methodologies for software development.
Knowledge of "Good documentation practices" to align with ISO13485 Design Verification guidelines.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
