    Description
    R&D Project Manager

    Remote, 6+ month contract


    The role of the R&D Project Manager will be to deploy an existing application onto an established platform for an R&D group following the established approach and methodology of previous projects.

    The R&D project manager's objective is to coordinate the team's efforts and bring the application live by the end of 2024Responsibilities:

    Project Planning:
    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
    Allocate resources and budget for project tasks.resources and budget for project tasks.


    Project Execution:
    Lead project team members and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
    Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed.
    Address issues and risks that may arise during project execution.
    Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.


    Stakeholder Communication:
    Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders regularly.
    Manage stakeholder expectations and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with project goals.


    Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    Proactively address issues that may impact project timeline or budget.


    Quality Assurance:
    Establish quality standards and ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
    Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.


    Team Management:
    Build and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
    Delegate tasks effectively and provide support to team members as needed.


    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
    Prepare regular status reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, etc.).Proven project management experience in the Life Sciences.

    Strong leadership and communication skills.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    Understand what GxP is and how it is applicable in the deliverables.
    Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable but not required.


    Additional Skills and Abilities:
    Able to lead the project.
    Ability to working autonomously.
    Possess strong soft skills.
    Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing project requirements.
    Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is a plus.
