    Description

    Weare seeking an experienced and innovative OSS Telecom Architect to leadthe design and implementation of cutting-edge Operations Support Systems forour telecommunications network.

    Responsibilities:

  • OSS Architecture Design:
  • Develop and design end-to-end OSS architecture based on business requirements and industry best practices.

    • Defineand document OSS architecture standards, guidelines, and patterns.

  • Solution Integration:
  • Lead the integration of OSS solutions with existing telecom systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.

    • Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to implement integrated solutions that enhanceoverall network performance.

  • Scalability and Performance Optimization:
  • Evaluate and enhance the scalability of OSS solutions to support the growing demands of the telecom network.

    • Optimizethe performance of OSS components to meet or exceed established service-levelagreements.

  • Technology Evaluation:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in OSS and telecommunications.

    • Evaluate andrecommend new technologies and tools to improve OSS capabilities andefficiency.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with network engineers, system architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into OSS solutions.

    • Collaboratewith vendors and partners to ensure alignment with architectural standards andgoals.

  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security measures within the OSS architecture to safeguard against potential threats.

    • Ensurecompliance with industry regulations and standards related to OSS and telecomsystems.

  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create comprehensive documentation for OSS architecture, design decisions, and implementation details.

    • Providetraining and support to the technical team and other relevant stakeholders onOSS architecture and best practices.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Proven experience as an OSS TelecomArchitect with a deep understanding of OSS concepts, protocols, and standards.

    Strong knowledge of telecom networkelements and technologies.

    Expertise in designing and implementingscalable and high-performance OSS solutions.

    Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.,Python, Shell) and familiarity with automation tools.

    Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.

    PreferredQualifications:

  • Certifications in telecommunications or OSS-related technologies.

    • Experiencewith specific OSS platforms (e.g., Netcool, Granite, IBM Tivoli).

    Previousexperience in a leadership or mentoring role.

    Familiaritywith cloud-based OSS solutions.
