Description

The social media specialist will develop content for the QueueBuster social media platforms, while helping with events and supporting all long and short-term content plans.

The role is for a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.

That passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans/followers into customers.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Brand Development: Engage customer through contextual content to scale up follower base on our social channels. This will include (but not be restricted to) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and other growing social networks. Design and implement the company's social media strategies.
  • Identify Target Audience: Analytically use data to laser target the message and keep market focus tight.
  • Solid Content Strategy: Create content, images, and videos in partnership with creatives on the team. Weave a good story and device new content interventions to engage with the relevant online communities. Curate, and manage all published content, images and videos.
  • Promotion Strategy: Ensure continued growth of fan base and promote content. Focus on quality content and clear messaging to reduce promotion spends and maximise ROI in terms of leads, follower base and engagement. Generate inbound traffic and cultivate community and audience engagement.
  • Engagement Strategy: Engage the audience by listening, responding and asking questions. There should be careful consideration on how organic (nonpaid) leads appear in the comment section of our posts.
  • Measure & Analyze to Establish

ROI:

Measure results on a daily basis and results should tie back to company objectives and provide a clear understanding of the returns.

Objectives to be measured on the basis of Audience Growth, Audience Profile, Audience Engagement, Content Reach, Engagement by Content Type, Response Rate and Quality.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience curating content for media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Strong visual sense for content creation and development
  • Team player, who is able to work closely with marketing, development and design teams
  • Ensure QB's social networking is on the mark, trending, and relevant
  • Experience using social media tools and analytics; Functional SEO, SEM, and hashtag knowledge required
  • Photoshop knowledge a plus
  • Familiarity with fintech/tech and startup environment preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
