The Team:


Key Developments & Events team covers any significant news which could potentially impact the company's share price, corporate actions for future date, events coverage for publicly traded companies globally.

Transforms raw data into usable intelligence and provides data for making decisions with conviction. Operates from Ahmadabad, Hyderabad and Islamabad locations and works 24/6 to deliver data in timely fashion. Team sifts through press releases/articles, regulatory filings and company websites coupled with extensive data research for qualitative product.


The Impact:


This role will involve working with the operations managers, data management, technology, and other stake holders on a variety of initiatives related to Key Developments & Events operations.

This is an opportunity to deliver high end projects, deep analysis, research on new projects and contribute towards achieving the goals of team.

Accountability would be towards understanding and owning the business objectives; communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working; and lead by example when communicating new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manages a team in the process of data research and extraction of information from various sources, tools and documents.
Ensure team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies and research tools.
Responsible for the day-to-day workflow management and performance of a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of process workflows.
Manages the performance review process, talent development and talent management processes of the team.

May interact with internal and external clients as necessary and occasionally works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned.

Develop mechanism to improvise data quality and take up proactive measures to alleviate them.
Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team.
Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.

Applies general knowledge of operations principles, theories and work tools developed through experience to best complete assignments.
Thorough knowledge of business and data/content management objectives.
Possesses strong analytical skills and familiarity with relational database concepts.
Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting.
Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.
Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.
Works with multiple teams and interacts with other related teams.
Works with multiple businesses to understand processes and procedures and helps to improve them whenever possible.
Ensure compliance to content wide timely delivery.
Maintain high ethical standards, both personally and professionally.

Basic Qualifications:

Excellent leadership skills and people management skills.
Good oral and written communication and Presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills and data-oriented mindset
Proficient knowledge in SQL & advanced MS Office.
Requires working in rotation/night shifts on a need basis.


Preferred Qualifications:

Full time MBA or bachelor's degree from recognized university.
Exposure of Lean and automation tools is desirable.
