Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the school library, including cataloging, organizing, and shelving books and other materials.
Assist students and teachers in locating and selecting books, reference materials, and resources.
Promote reading and literacy by organizing book fairs, reading programs, and other activities.
Collaborate with teachers to support curriculumrelated research and projects.
Develop and maintain a collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources that align with the school's curriculum and educational goals.
Stay updated with current trends in library science, technology, and education to enhance library services.
Manage library budget, including purchasing new materials and resources.
Supervise library assistants and volunteers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 23 years of experience working in a library, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in library management software and digital resources.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff.
Passion for reading, learning, and promoting literacy.

Job Types:

Salary:
₹200, ₹300,000.00 per year
