Composite Repairman


Job Purpose:

To repair, overhaul and modify composite parts from basic up to a specialized level.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Perform basic shop functions and use hand tools and basic equipment.
  • Use technical manual related to his job and also comply with safety procedures.
  • Prepare component for composite repair.
  • Interpret repair schemes and blue prints and identify various types of materials.
  • Dismantle and replace hardware or next lower assembly.
  • Perform scalloping, tapering and chambering, also interpret and comply engineering documentations.
  • Carry out cold cure composite repair.
  • Perform hot cure injection process or honey comb repairs for nonaerodynamic component and their required test.
  • Perform honeycomb repair by using elevated temperature method.
  • Ensures compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department.
  • Undertake any other functions are assigned by the immediate manager.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:


  • Must have at least 2 years experience in Aircraft composite repairs.
  • Diploma in Mechanical with minimum 2 years of working experience in the related roles / area.
  • Have Certificates or licenses recognized or approved by GACA is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with manuals (AMM, CMM).
  • Must read and understand English.
  • Must have an advanced level of safety and security.

Salary:
₹55,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employerprovided relocation package (required)
