    Description

    Position Title: Power Purchase Agreement Specialist (Coal Fired Power Plant & Renewable Energy).

    Location:

    Bengaluru, Karnataka (Onsite)

    Role Summary:

    We are actively seeking a Power Purchase Agreement Specialist to become an integral part of our team, bringing their expertise as a subject matter specialist to contribute towards the creation of a cutting-edge product. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of the Power Purchase Agreement and respective regulations in Coal-Fired power plant(CFPP) and Renewable Energy(RE). Practical experience in interpretation, understanding of PPA clauses, executing and managing PPA is expected.

    Key Tasks & Accountability :

    • Understanding of PPA clauses and its commercial and legal implications.
    • Understanding the PPAs across different regions (or) countries in the world.
    • Conduct research and analysis of different types of PPAs across the world.

    Education and Experience:

    Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Business, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant degree).
    • At least 2 to 10 years of extensive experience relevant to the PPA.
    • Exposure to different types of PPAs across the world.

    Skills:

    • Good understanding of electricity regulations
    • Analytical and interpretation skills of the PPAs

    Personal Attributes:

    • A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
    • A self-motivator and a collaborative team player.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary.
    • Agile, action oriented and a quick learner.
    • Out of box thinker.
