Description
3+ years of experience as Server Administrator- Hands on experience in administration and troubleshooting Servers.
- Sound knowledge and hands on experience to analyses Windows event logs to perform root cause analysis for Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, AD, Patching, DNS/DHCP/ IIS, Windows / VMWare Clustering
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Windows Server OS(2012,2016,2019), Linux OS (Ubuntu & SuSE) and web server stack; TomCat, IIS, Apache etc.
- Troubleshoot & Configure VMware Virtual Servers
- Experience in Windows patching
- Manage & Configure DNS Server.
- Coordinate with vendors / OEMs for server / storage issues
- Troubleshoot & configure FTP, SFTP to transfer files
- Knowledge on AWS & Microsoft Azure cloud
- Good Knowledge in Managing SQL Server & Firewall
- Creating documentation, SOPs
- Passionate about technology and networking, and able to learn and develop independently
- Must be a team player
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are must.
- Experience in configuring backup for file systems, databases (MSSQL) & VM
- Monitoring the performance of scheduled backups & take corrective actions
- Hands on experience of configuring Tape Library
- Perform regular backup restore
