    Job Description: Lead ML Developer

    We are seeking a candidate with a technical-specialist background and hands-on experience in real-world projects. We value candidates with strong fundamentals rather than surface-level knowledge of techniques. The ability to learn and adapt to the constantly evolving field of AI with new technologies and techniques is crucial.

    Experience: Ideally 10-15 years

    Education: Bachelors/master's in computer engineering or related fields

    Work/Problem space:

    • Work covers various domains including manufacturing, life sciences, finance, and retail.
    • Problems may involve different business functions like Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and HR

    Core skills required:

    • Applying Machine Learning and Data Science to solve problems
    • Proficiency in Statistical ML techniques, deep learning, computer vision, and NLP (in-depth knowledge of at least two)
    • Analysis, design, and development of complex AI ML solutions
    • Performance analysis of models using evidence-based and statistical methods
    • Supporting in the deployment and post-live monitoring of solutions

    Technology space:

    • Open Source tools: Python and R
    • Coding standards based on PEP8 or Google Python guidelines
    • Platforms: Experience with at least one of Azure, Amazon, GCP, or Databricks
    • Database systems: Working knowledge and integrations with SQL-based RDBMS and NoSQL document-based databases like Elasticsearch and MongoDB
    • Exposure to deployment strategies such as APIs and docker containers

    Additional preferred soft skills:

    • Ability to work independently or in small teams
    • Leading and mentoring junior team members
    • Experience in Agile work environments
    • Collaboration with architects, data engineers, and deployment teams
    • Engaging with business clients, internal groups, and function leads
    • Strong abilities in learning, leadership, communication, and teamwork
