Officer - Planning & Strategy (WWP)


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting in the planning and strategy of the outcomes under Waste worker professionalization along with the Senior Manager.
  • Further responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of outputs of Waste Worker professionalizing solution across 9 cities


It requires learning and understanding current structure, policies within the solid waste management system of India and status of waste workers including ongoing research, data sourcing and analysis and the need to uplift the socio-economic status of waste workers.

As a part of implementation, the Assistant Manager will support the ground team with any requisites needed for the delivery.

In addition, the Asst.

Manager is expected to contribute his/her personal thoughts and perspective in data analysis and finding data insights from different data source available.

There will be tasks ongoing with varying degrees of frequency.


Essential Responsibilities:

❖ Plan, schedule, manage, and monitor projects to ensure that the quality of project implementation follows company standards.

❖ Problem definition, research, data cleaning, analysis to determine best processes and methods for problem-solving.

❖ Prepare reports, DPRs, proposals and presentations for the WWP model.

❖ Improve and innovate operational standards and ensure that all policy and procedures are followed at all levels and understand how different projects interlink and overlap.

❖ Extensive policy level researches to make the assigned documents/ reports /strategies.

❖ Maintain files and generate status information.


Qualifications:

❖ Master's degree in a discipline like Development studies, Economics, Public policy, Social Work etc


Preferred Experience:

❖ 2-3 Years in Government advisory, Development sector, Consultancy, CSR projects or allied sectors.

❖ Completed fellowships like Teach for India, Gandhi Fellowship, SBI Fellowship and other similar experiences in the development sector.


Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
