    Position Overview:

    As the Head of Quantitative Trading, you will play a pivotal role in leading the client's quantitative trading division. This role involves overseeing a team of highly skilled quant traders, developing advanced trading strategies, and ensuring the alignment of these strategies with the firm's overall objectives. The position calls for a visionary leader who can maintain the firm's standing at the forefront of the quantitative trading field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of quantitative traders, promoting an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Develop, implement, and refine quantitative trading strategies, integrating the latest statistical and machine learning techniques.
    • Collaborate closely with the technology team to enhance trading systems and infrastructure, optimizing for maximum efficiency and performance.
    • Manage risk effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management protocols.
    • Perform in-depth market research to identify new trading opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning.
    • Foster professional development within the team, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
    • At least 10 years of experience in quantitative trading, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
    • Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and algorithmic trading.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, C++, or similar.
    • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
