Description
Document support procedures to minimize end-user impact and ensure BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), also formerly called Avecto acts as a transparent security control for our end user population

  • Act as a third line technical escalation for 2nd line resolver teams.
  • Proactive and reactive problem root cause analysis and resolution
  • Continuously improve services based on input from a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders and technology teams as well as the IT industry at large.
  • Collect, analyze EPM event data, and provide meaningful recommendations to improve the current policy configuration
  • Analyze enduser feedback, update and test EPM policies accordingly.
  • Generating and maintain documentation such as technical requirement specification, use cases, architecture Visio diagrams, brain maps, roadmap, technical strategy presentations, High level design and lowlevel design for BeyondTrust Privilege Manager infrastructure
  • Ensure SLA's and KPI's are measured, and targets met.
  • Prepare and review regular status reports and statistics
  • Maintaining API integration solutions based on PowerShell/Bash/Python scripting, SQL language, REST, XML, etc.
  • Maintain the BeyondTrust product throughout its lifecycle.
Local Admins management - Policy creation for End points, to replace Local admin rights as a priority. Weekly review of local admins recertification and IT team's exclusion. Just In Time access for temporary requests.

  • Worked along with Software distribution / Infosec / SOC team to run the environment smoothly.


  • Agent Deployment

  • Weekly review to monitor the Newly commissioned machines in network to push EPM agent to make machines compliant.
  • Privilege and Application control events collection to do baseline policies creation.
  • Threat protection module Exclusions are being made by finding False positives.
Beyond Trust PMC - Quick policy imported for Windows & Mac OS and streamlining based on client requirements.

  • Agent packaged through SCCM (VDI) and Company portal (Laptops/PC), JAMF (Mac OS) Deployed around 6,000 windows endpoints and 150 Mac endpoints.
  • Created an additional message popup UI for DSS/SD team to authenticate with Designated user to login.
  • Designed policy workflow document to demonstrate the client for Windows and Mac Os. Created Runbook for Steady state operations.
  • Implemented Response code generator to run by Support desk with KB articles.
