    The Team

    The Business Intelligence Team directly reports to the CEO's Office at WeWork India. We strongly believe that data sits at the center of our business, providing insights into the effectiveness of our physical and digital products & features. The intent of the BI & Analytics team is to power the growth of the company by supplying the right insights and enabling teams as well as the Leadership to take the best decision for the organization.

    The focus of the BI Team at WeWork India has been on building the right dashboards that provide data that can not only be consumed but can also be actioned upon. With some of the base work completed, the BI Team is now focused on more intuitive dashboards and data that would centralise all reporting and utilisation of data in the organization.

    About the role

    The BI Team at WeWork is looking at hiring an experienced Tableau Developer who assists in managing our master data, developing reports and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a business data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases, with the goal of providing the insights required to power our organization's growth. The role will also require some knowledge of data engineering and exploring the source systems from which data flows into our central data warehouses.

    You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and leadership to collect and analyze the data from various sources. Particularly important to the role is the ability to communicate effectively and to maintain open lines of communication with team members and stakeholders.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-cycle Tableau development projects, from business needs assessment and data discovery, through solution design, to delivery to internal stakeholders
  • Enable our teams to answer questions and develop data-driven insights through Tableau.
  • Provide technical leadership and support across all aspects of Tableau development and use, from data specification development, through DataMart development, to supporting end-user dashboards and reports.
  • Administrate Tableau Server by creating sites, add/remove users, and provide the appropriate level access for users.
  • Strategize and ideate the solution design. Develop UI mock-ups, storyboards, flow diagrams, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop best practices guidelines for Tableau data processing and visualization. Use these best practices to quickly deliver functionality across the client base and internal users.
  • Design, develop, and operationalize dashboards and reports for Senior and executive management.
  • Provide best practices and industry standards to guide BI strategy development.
  • Ensure a consistent design and/or approach for analytics across the business areas

    • Experience and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business/Data Analytics, focusing on dashboard development. Comfort with Tableau and prior experience in delivering dashboards through the full cycle of development.
  • Must be able to identify KPIs of importance from large datasets
  • Basic understanding of data engineering and ability to manage/work on streamlining data requirements for dashboards
  • Must be able to synthesize and draw conclusions from copious amounts of raw data
  • Conversant with data storytelling techniques
  • Self-starter that takes initiative and is driven by new challenges
  • Strong work ethic and rigorous attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations and analyses to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable manner
  • Demonstrated success in team collaboration; ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Passion for learning and relentless improvement; able to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
