    Description

    Job Title: Lead II - Software Engineering (MS.Net)

    Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

    Experience: 7-10 years

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the e-commerce industry. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with engineering management, product managers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and enhance existing solutions. This role involves performing analysis, design, and development of complex modules, as well as supervising junior software developers. The Senior Software Engineer will also act as a subject matter expert for specific components within one or more products or solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering management, product managers, and other software engineers to develop and improve e-commerce solutions.
    • Perform analysis, design, and development of complex software modules.
    • Supervise and mentor junior software developers.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for specific components within one or more products/solutions.
    • Perform software modeling, prototyping, and assist Development Team Leaders in the overall design of solutions or products.
    • Work with the Enterprise team to define the technical roadmap for future developments.
    • Develop and coordinate estimates for software defects, new features, and enhancements included in service releases.
    • Participate in discussions regarding new product development and product enhancements.
    • Design, document, code, and deploy new features and fixes for system-related issues.
    • Participate in high-level estimates for proposed projects and plan for future features.
    • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
    • Conduct code reviews and debug code to ensure high-quality standards.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in software development.
    • High proficiency in developing software applications using the .NET framework, ASP.NET MVC.
    • Strong experience with client-side technologies such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, HTML & CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, writing SQL queries, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework 6.4 (ORM).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a management/people leadership capacity.
    • 3+ years of experience in project management, managing multiple projects and teams.
    • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence.
    • Experience with AWS cloud services.
    • Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
    • Experience with version control systems such as GIT/Bitbucket.
    • Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) software development methodology.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and strong problem resolution abilities.
