Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Collections Strategy
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic professional to design and drive collection strategies across Retail loan products. The role focuses on improving recovery outcomes, controlling delinquencies, and optimizing cost efficiency across early, mid, and late-stage buckets.
The incumbent will work closely with Business, Risk, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Process Control, and Automation teams to enhance portfolio performance while ensuring regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collection Strategy Design
- Develop and implement risk-based collection strategies across pre-delinquency, early, mid, and late-stage buckets.
- Leverage bureau data, alternative data, and portfolio analytics to create differentiated treatment strategies.
- Design allocation logic across tele-calling, field teams, agencies, and legal channels.
- Continuously review and refine SOPs and collection flows.
2. Portfolio Performance & Efficiency
- Monitor roll rates, recovery performance, bucket movement, and ECL impact.
- Drive initiatives to improve collection efficiency and cost optimization.
- Analyze delinquency trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Track performance across multiple collection channels.
3. Manpower & Allocation Optimization
- Develop manpower sizing models aligned with portfolio scale and bucket mix.
- Define allocation logic across internal teams, agencies, and vendors.
- Optimize incentive structures and productivity frameworks.
4. Cross-functional Execution & Governance
- Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Analytics, and Automation teams for seamless implementation.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and internal policies.
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives in collections.
- Drive governance frameworks and periodic strategy reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any Graduation
- 510 years of experience in Retail Collections Strategy / Credit Risk / Portfolio Analytics.
- Strong understanding of delinquency management across Retail loan products (PL, BL, HL, LAP, etc.).
- Experience in bureau-based segmentation, risk modeling, or data-driven strategy design.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, SAS, Excel, or similar tools.
- Exposure to manpower planning, agency management, and multi-channel collections preferred.
