Description

Responsibility for of all Design activities including Request for Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze / release, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),

Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to Management and provide regular progress updates
Liaise closely with all departments to fully understand design requirements
Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from the Sales team
Conceptualize new designs and design revision.
Various coordination which includes Interior design with Architecture, MEP, Consultants, Contractors, vendors etc.
Finalization of finishes materials and FF & E.
Coordination with internal teams which includes Commercial, D&C, Procurement & Construction
Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.
Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with various Teams, Consultants and third party.
Develop comprehensive scopeofwork and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline.
Negotiate scopeofwork, deliverables and price with consulting firms.
Manage distribution and production of project workload within team.
Create initial feasibility studies
Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team.
Ensure projects and finished graphics are accurate and precise.

GM - Retail

Analysing architectural designs and plans for all retail developments.
Working with architects to create best design for all retail developments
Understanding the design intent and briefing the project team and monitoring the progress to achieve the design intent
Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations
Researching and inquiring about different materials
Supervising Junior Architects and assigning them tasks
Explaining design requirements and specifications to vendors like Builders, Electrical and Technicians
Communicating project status and completion timelines to the Management
Conducting mockup sessions
Guiding the construction project from start to finish
Presenting project briefs to clients
Understanding the clients' requirements/preferences and environmental impacts on the construction project
Developing projects by adhering to the specified budget and timeline
Undertaking regular site visits and inspections
Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
