A video editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcasting.They work closely with the director and other members of the production team to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best shots
- Trimming footage segments and putting them together in a logical sequence
- Inputting sound effects, music, and dialogue into the final product
- Collaborating with the director and other team members to ensure the video meets their vision
- Experimenting with styles and techniques, including the use of special effects and graphics
- Ensuring the video is delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintaining an organized library of footage and project files.
Skills:
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Premiere Pro
