Description
Role: Global Head, Client Solutioning Group, Life Sciences
As the leader for presales and business development activities focused on Life Sciences, consisting of Biopharma and Medical devices industries, you will be driving a team of solution consultants and pursuit managers. This team is responsible for driving responses to all the RFXs, account intelligence, supporting client visits, contributing to vertical's efforts in offer development activities, sales and account planning and such other activities focused on growth and business development.
Location – Chennai/Noida/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune
Key responsibilities
1. Oversee and drive winning responses to all the RFXs in the life sciences segments.
2.Drive superior collaboration with all the different vertical and horizontal teams – during and in between pursuits.
3.Collaborate with sales leads to identify opportunity areas and collaborate with practices and function teams within HCLTech to prepare strong propositions for clients.
4.room and assist the team to strengthen strategic activities of pursuit management, such as solutioning, pricing, etc.
5.Bring industry best practices and tools to strengthen knowledge management platform and processes.
6.Have strong focus on pursuit management process adherence and enhancement to take it to next level of maturity and quality of pursuits.
7.Work in close collaboration with vertical practices to develop Life Sciences specific propositions, offerings and collaterals.
8.Encourage team members to develop and strengthen domain capabilities, and contribute to organizational assets, with the aim of expanding the suite of services and keeping up with evolving industry trends.
9.Work with Head of Practices and Solutions Group to drive strategic initiatives to achieve continuous improvement and team development.
10.Provide assistance to the team for structuring client visits and contribute for engagement and presentations, as needed.
11.Establish strong collaboration with vertical delivery teams for joint business and capability development initiatives.
12. Conduct performance appraisals for team members, through period touch points, feedback sessions, and motivate the team members to build a thriving culture.
Requirements -
1.Advanced degree in science, engineering, or Life Sciences / healthcare-related field.
2.15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in presales activities.
3.Must have worked in Global Life Sciences domain for consulting/ IT services or product companies – in delivery, presales, product management or other such relevant roles and responsibilities.
4.Strong people skills and a proven track record of establishing connects and rapport with stakeholders, peers as well as team members.
5.Have superior articulation, presentation skills
