Responsibilities:

Contact potential customers to inform them about our products/services using scripts
Answer questions about products/services or the company
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
Direct prospects to the sales team when needed
Enter and update customer information in the database
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, answer any questions, and resolve issues
Achieve agreedupon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Requirements:

Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets over the phone
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Persistent and resultsoriented
High school diploma; additional qualifications in sales or marketing will be a plus
