Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) professionals provide assurance and advisory services including ESG/Sustainability Advisory, Sustainability/non-financial reporting, EHS, Climate Change and impact assessment studies.
Our CCaSS team is growing exponentially, and as a staff you will support execution of global, complex, and high-profile projects related to sustainability reporting and assurance.
The role requires understanding of sustainability related terminology and basic understanding of frameworks like GRI, CSRD, TCFD, CDP etc. along with well-developed communication skills.
While the Manager will be based out of our Gurgaon/Bangalore/Mumbai/Kolkata/Hyderabad office, the individual will be required to travel to other countries (short term) for executing the client engagements.
Primary responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same, you will collaborate with global engagement managers and project teams on allocated assignments/ workstreams.
- ESG/ sustainability reporting
- Sustainability assurance
- Sustainability strategy
- ESG impact assessments
- ESG due diligence
- Supply chain sustainability
You will be expected to:
- maintain detailed knowledge of global sustainability regulations and awareness of market trends, competitor activity and offerings.
- utilize consistent creative problem-solving abilities and consultancy mindset while working on, as well as researching, problems and/or issues and developing effective solutions for sustainability related advisory or assurance.
- demonstrate flexibility and desire to travel, as client assignments require.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
- Graduate or post graduate degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong and demonstrable advisory, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent MS Excel (or any other data management tools/ technologies) and MS PowerPoint skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Understanding of sustainability related terminology and basic understanding of TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP etc. standards is a plus.
