Regional Finance Controller- SAARC (Mumbai)
Position: Regional Finance Controller

**Regional Finance Controller
- SAARC (Transaction processing, Tax, Compliance and Audit)**
Responsibilities/Accountability - Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored.
- Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are always in place and in use.
- Develop and implement Dashboards to support the Business objectives.
- Ensure compliance to all regulatory reporting and filing obligations (including Statutory, Tax, Transfer Pricing audits and Direct and Indirect tax filings)
- Act as an Authorized signatory for and authorise expenditure up to limits as agreed by the Management.
- Ensure the activities, procedures and systems of the organization are in compliance with ASSA ABLOY group (including local laws) policies and practices.
- Maintain and implement systems which ensures that the system operates in ways that makes best possible use of the resources available and effectiveness of controls.
- Ensure (delegate as appropriate) that each function within finance and accounts department is adequately managed, staffed and resourced.
- Identify and implement plans for Finance and Account team's training and development needs.
- Ensuring adequacy of Finance structure to support changing needs of the business and organization (including backups and succession plan).
- Effective relations with the Bankers, Auditors, and other consultants.
- Supporting the Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, and other Business reviews
- Liaise and negotiate as appropriate with the treasury team and bankers for the business needs.
- Maintain appropriate relations with Bankers and make reports as necessary, ensuring compliance with any agreements.
- Support the Finance Director in preparation of Review meetings.
- Attend meetings for EMEIA Management's review.
- Preparation of Lockpack and ASSA ABLOY monthly and quarterly reports.
- Responding to adhoc queries from H.Q.
- Submission of financials in HFM and ensuring mapping with COA.
- Monitoring the Financial and Operations KPIs.
- Prepare fixed assets acquisition proposal.
- Ensure smooth and timely completion of Audits.
- Effective relations with the Bankers, Auditors, and other consultants
Soft Skills:
- Selfmotivated.
- Good at interpersonal & relationship building skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Working experience of Hyperion and Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferable)
- Ensure meeting corporate deadlines & work under pressure.
- Working Knowledge of Direct tax, Indirect tax, Corporate Laws , payroll laws and regulations.
Qualification Criteria:
- CA
- Minimum 10+ years' post qualified experience
- Good Business Acumen
