    Description

    Black & Grey HR iscurrently recruiting on behalf of a leading flexible packagingmanufacturer in Ahmedabad India. Our client is seeking a highlyexperienced Head of Operations to oversee and optimizemanufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsiblefor overseeing all aspects of our production and operationsensuring efficiency quality andprofitability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leadand manage all production operations including planning schedulingandexecution.
    • Developand implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operationsand improveefficiency
    • Ensurethat the manufacturing processes comply with both local and globalproductionstandards
    • Leadand mentor the operations team providing guidance and support toensure operationalexcellence
    • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and improveoverallperformance
    • Managethe supply chain including procurement inventory managementInfrastructure and logistics to ensuretimely delivery of materials andproducts.
    • Analyseproduction data and performance metrics to identify areas forimprovement and implement solutions to enhance productivity andreducecosts.
    • Developand manage operational budgets monitor expenses and identifyopportunities to improvecosteffectiveness.
    • Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and company policies tomaintain a safe and sustainable workenvironment.
    • Developand maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders includingvendors customers and internaldepartments.
    • Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives through Lean Six Sigmamethodologies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelorsdegree in Engineering preferably with a mastersdegree
    • Strongunderstanding and certification of Lean Six Sigma methodologies isaplus
    • Minimumof 13 years of experience in a similar role within the flexiblepackaging manufacturingindustry.
    • Handson Experience in reducing wastage quality control operationalexpense reduction machine maintenance and processimprovements
    • Proventrack record of success in leading and managing production andoperationsteams.
    • Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to makedatadrivendecisions.
    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toeffectively collaborate with internal teams and externalstakeholders.
    • Strategicmindset with the ability to develop and execute longterm plans toachieve businessobjectives.
    • Proficiencyin MS Office and ERPsystems.
