    Description

    Job Requirements:

    • Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests, and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle.
    • Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
    • Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks, and various programming languages.
    • Provides the necessary documentation

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for defining requirements, designing, installing, configuring, customizing, and implementing the IBM Sterling Products
    • Responsible for analyzing existing processes and translating business requirements into technical designs.
    • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with the technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
    • Desire to take ownership and run the show end to end Comfortable working with Global teams.
    • Analyse and troubleshoot production issues / L3 Support

    Primary Skills:

    • Direct experience in the following IBM products and technologies:
    • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) / Sterling File Gateway (SFG)
    • Experience with IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager (PEM)
    • Experience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX) / Sterling Transformation Extender Advanced (ITXA)
    • Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, EDI, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services, etc.)
    • Experience or strong knowledge of application programming/scripting technologies (Java/J2EE, Linux/Unix/Windows shell scripts, Python)
    • Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise.
    • Highly skilled in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, applying judgment, building consensus, and decision-making.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical staff.

    Nice To Have:

    • Experience working with IBM complementary products: IBM WebSphere family, IBM PEM Community Manager (PCM), IBM Db2 pureScale.
    • Working experience with ETL, Java, Python, and Cloud technologies is a strong plus.
    • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.
    • Three (3) years of work experience in an information technology or engineering environment.
