To all the world do bright visions apply.

I seek such visions but there is a crack in my eye.

Wishful dark thoughts makes a clever return.

They hide in the crack and my visions they burn.

I no longer wish to be rooted like a tree.

Nor fly with the winds, a cloud roaming free.

I wait for the high tides building sandcastles by the sea.

I learn and master the lure, so that the other's follow me.

Soon they lose all recollection of their roots and their wings.

I've almost got them influenced, but then their hope springs.

Some are amazed by the water and what they see through.

Some are reminded by reflections, of a much better self-view.

They help me make castles while they befriend the sea.

They are rooted in the moment ,yet their moments fly free.

With the sea a little calmer, they then take me for a swim.

My eye feels wholesome, with the waters up to the brim.

It takes practice to remember all there is to see.

The world can show a lot, giving new thoughts to me.

The light and the dark were just parts of a head full of voices.

The view and the reflections are evident, not choices.

The eye can see everything, might as well give it a try.

There is no more, any crack in my eye.
