Single-handedly bringing out the magazine issue.

Experience working in a magazine is a must, experience on web portal will be add on advantage.

Minimum Experience is required 5 years.

This involves:

Making yearly theme plan
Ideating for story ideas, planning issue content
Interviewing industry professionals, leaders, CEO in the retail industry
Writing and editing story articles
Building industry connections and being the face of the magazine to the industry
Coordinating with the sales team to ensure client editorial commitments are met
Working with the design team to bring out timely issues
Plan, execute, and turn around special issues and books based on upcoming events and sponsorship needs.
Actively convert speakers within events.

Skills required:

Nose for news: ability to recognize good story ideas and angles
Ability to manage deadlines and plan a magazine issue content
Excellent command over English
Good business feature writing skills
Good copy editing skills
Good networking and follow up skills
Inclination towards technology and ability to understand the retail business connection
Have a sense of different vertical growth happening within the retail and other domains.
Ability to multitask between the magazine and special projects and yearly events.
