JOB SUMMARY:


KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Generating retail business ideas:
  • Proactively generate innovative and captivating retail ideas, stay informed about the latest developments in the retail industry, and convert them into writing.
  • Going out of the office to conduct exclusive interviews with retail business experts:
  • Conduct exclusive interviews with retail business experts, CXOs and influencers in and out of the office.
  • Researchbased retail stories:
  • Conduct thorough research to support retail stores, ensuring accuracy and depth of information.
  • Connecting with retail CXOs / experts:
  • Conduct and establish connections with the retail industry and experts for potential collaborations.
  • Business writing on retail brands
  • Indian and International:
  • Craft engaging business articles focused on Indian and international retail brands.
  • Rewriting press releases to suit our requirements:
  • Rewrite press releases to align with our editorial voice and meet the company's and our audience's requirements.
  • Editing and inputting stories on CMS:
  • Edit and proofread content for clarity, coherence, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
  • Input and format stories on the Content Management System (CMS) accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining general hygiene on the website:
  • Maintain general hygiene on the website by ensuring all content is up-to-date, accurate, and follows SEO best practices.
  • Transcribing videos and interviews for stories:
  • Transcribe video content and interviews, converting spoken words into written form for feature stories.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, communication or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in Content writing/ Business reporting.

SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Experience in online with print will be added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, SEO)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • Strong interest and enthusiasm in pursuing story leads

REMUNERATION:


  • Commensurate with the market standards, together with the incentives and reward as per the company's policy.
