  • Develop and manage a budget for the section to ensure sufficient resources to carry out research and development activities.
  • Manage costs to ensure that you are maximizing the return on investment for your R&D activities.
  • Effective translations of identified customer needs through execution of appropriate NPD and NPI ideas and concepts for the subsystem / Product line
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify areas for improvement and new product development opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay uptodate on industry trends and customer needs
  • Generate and develop new ideas for product development and improvement, using a variety of techniques such as brainstorming, design thinking, and problemsolving
  • Present ideas and concepts to crossfunctional teams and management for review and feedback
  • Work with the R&D team to bring ideas from concept to prototype stage
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and suppliers, to present ideas and progress updates.
  • Ensure compliance to TQM, ACDE, ISO and EOHS
  • Support Manufacturing and Marketing groups to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction
