Position Overview:
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our curriculum products and services to schools, distributors, and educational institutions within your designated territory.
You will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with educators, administrators, and decision-makers to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, networking, and research to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Sales Presentations:
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our curriculum solutions to key stakeholders, highlighting the value proposition and benefits for educators and students.
Consultative Selling:
Understand the unique needs and challenges of each school or distributor and provide tailored solutions to address their specific requirements.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with school administrators, curriculum coordinators, teachers, and other decision-makers to foster trust and loyalty.
Negotiation and Closing:
Collaborate with prospects to understand budgetary constraints and overcome objections, leading to successful contract negotiations and closures.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on opportunities.
Training and Support:
Provide ongoing training and support to educators on implementing and utilizing our curriculum resources effectively.
Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM software to track progress and measure performance against targets.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional post-sales support to maintain long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the education industry(Book Company/Distributors).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a focus on delivering results.
- Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
