What you'll do:

_ Responsibilities:
_

Develops organizationwide

architectures and methodologies for design and development of complex products, platforms, systems, software, and technology across multiple engineering disciplines, platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.

Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architecture.
Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less

- experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.

What you need to bring:

_Education and Experience Required:
_

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Typically 1015 years experience.

_ Knowledge and Skills:
_

Design, test and/or commissioning of wired communication systems with involvement in the complete design lifecycle
Knowledge of VLANs, QOS, trunking, RSTP, PVSTP+, ACLs, SNMP, VRRP
Working knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac radios
Good knowledge on the routing concepts and protocols like OSPF & BGP
Good working or theoretical knowledge of Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet
Knowledge of general wireless concepts like SNR, tx rate, rx rate, radio management
Design experience with Aruba SDWAN, AOS-CX switches is a plus
Knowledge of Aruba Airwave and Central is a plus
Knowledge of network wireless survey and use of Ekahau tool is a plus
Good communication skills written & Oral
Work with frequently occurring incidents in the customer premises to resolve the issue
Drive in Design discussion
