Primary Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to join our team.

As a Purchase Officer, you will be responsible for conducting product research, sourcing new suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and deals, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.

You will also be responsible for staying updated on market trends, maintaining accurate records, building professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers, and ensuring proper packaging and delivery of stock.

Key Accountabilities/Activities:

Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management:

Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services.
Negotiating the best or most costeffective contracts and deals.

Inventory Management:

Performing inventory inspections.
Reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.

Quality Control and Reporting:

Inspect stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.

Record-keeping and Documentation:

Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

Logistics and Coordination:

Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or rescheduled orders.
Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
Networking and Relationship Building:
Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
Establishing professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.

Work Relations:

Internal:

Reporting COO for all Functional as well as administrative purposes.
Second level reporting to CEO
Interface with Production, Quality Control Team, Maintenance, and Procurement teams
Interface with HR teams.

External:

Interface with various clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, Service Providers

Qualification:

Essential:_M. Com / MBA (SCM)

Experience:

Essential_: Knowledge on Dairy Purchases system, Knowledge on SAP or other ERP System_

3+ Years of Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar procurement role.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and supplier management.
Familiarity with sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and contract management.
Excellent analytical and research skills to identify suitable suppliers and assess market trends.
Ability to manage inventory effectively, including forecasting demand and coordinating replenishment.
Proficiency in using procurement software or systems to maintain accurate records and track orders.
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in procurement processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Ability to negotiate effectively and drive cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying efficiency opportunities.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to procurement.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

Work Environment:24 X 6 (6 days a week)

Shift Details:
General Shift. (09:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Shift might rotate

Salary:
₹10,000.00 per month
