Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Welding and Fitting:

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fit and weld components.
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to precise specifications using hand and power tools.
Assemble and fit metal parts according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Conduct quality checks on welded joints and structures to ensure they meet company and industry standards.

Electrical Work:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components of manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in equipment and machinery.
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

General Duties:

Operate various machines and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.
Proven experience as a welder, fitter, and electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools related to welding, fitting, and electrical work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and welding helmets.
Regular standing, bending, and lifting.
