    This team also ensures availability and reliability of leading Database Cloud Services including ground breaking Autonomous Database Services.

    In this role, you will work closely with DevOps & Support teams to quickly investigate and mitigate critical incidents impacting service availability and reliability of cloud customersIdentify and deliver preventive measures, product improvements and automated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common and frequent issues reported by many of our key / strategic customers with critical production databases.

    Work closely with various product development teams to drive product / service improvements in the areas of diagnostics and resiliency.

    Career Level
    • IC4Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field years' of experience as a oracle database administrator / Software Developer within an Enterprise Product Development team.

    Experience and expertise in Database and Engineered Systems Cloud Platform Services (PaaS, SaaS, & Exadata as a Service).Hands-on Experience with Databases including Database Administration, DB internals, testing critical Security and Database fixes.

    Good knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C,Perl or Python and Scripting such as Shell or Bash.

    Experience with Virtualization, Networking, and Platform Storage Architecture is highly desirable
