    AtVAST the sales team is the engine that drives global customeracquisition reporting to the CEO. As the Business DevelopmentManager you will lead the entire business development functionalong with the team and bring sales management skills to win newcustomers for VASTs proven IT/digital services. You will own andcontinuously improve the entire sales process excelling at leadgeneration and relationship building through the presales proposalprocess and supporting VAST in dealclosing.

    The objective of thisrole:

    • The key resultarea for this role is to win new customers for VAST and maintain ahealthy pipeline of new customer prospects VASTs current and newservice offerings.
    • Establish and manage asound sales process for VAST to achieve its objectives by planningmarketing and sales activities to achieve sales targets analyzingperformance data and making reliable forecasts.
    • Represent the company effectively withcomprehensive knowledge of our capabilities and proven offerings.Establish and nurture new customer relationships.

    Desired Profile:

    • MBAMarketing
    • 10 years ofexperience managing sales in the IT/Digital servicesindustry.
    • Excellent English communication and workingknowledge of MS Office and Excel.
    • Proven sales experience and a good history ofexceeding sales targets are required. Manage the targets assignedby the management.
    • Willing and able to travel.

    Skills/Requirements.

    • Should beoutgoing with a proactive personality with a purposeful approachand strong in negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Effective communication & and presentationskills with an eye for detail.
    • An ability tobuild and manage good relations with clients is essential.
    • Having a good network of potential industrieswill be an added advantage for the candidate.

    Competent in managing product demosand technical queries forcustomers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creatingand executing strategic sales plans that expand our customer baseand extend global reach in North America and theUK.
    • DemandManagement: Internalizing theorganizational capabilities and current business models; organizingthe marketing collaterals and approach to generating salesqualifiedleads. Routinely review the performance of the sales operationsengine to improve effectiveness in delivering salesqualified leadsefficiently.
    • Prospecting:Understanding customers needs and coordinating with the internalteam to prepare the solutions & and offerings as per thecommitment given to the customers. Prepare the offer proposalaccurately and share it with the prospect to pursue closure.
    • SalesClosure/Contract: Negotiate the terms and close thecustomer PO as per VAST policies and guidelines. Seek support fromthe CEO to conclude the deal with the new customer.
    • Collect: Ensurethe payment from the customer is collected as per agreed schedulesand facilitate as required.
    • Onboarding:Onboard the new customer with the internal delivery teams andmonitor execution progress. Where required facilitate smoothexecution to meet customer expectations. Providing excellentcustomer service and customer satisfaction. Building a goodrelationship with the clients. Resolve customers complaints andissues professionally.
    • Reporting:Establish accurate use of the CRM process to monitor progressagainst sales forecasts and plans. Ensure realistic sales targetsand achieve them. Present appropriate sales reports to the highermanagement including order loss analysis competitive intelligenceetc. as appropriate.
