Mandatory Hands-on experience at least two of these technologies - Switching and Load Balancer.

Key Responsibilities

Handle 24x7 shift operations for Tata Communications GSMC Hosted Network by supporting Switches, Routers, Firewall, Load Balancers and WAFs
Handle change and support request from customers
Troubleshoot issues using defined process and standard methodologies and drive them to closure.
Handle tickets through the internal tool within committed SLAs
Identify and escalate underlying issues in the managed infrastructure
Working closely with technical staff in different domains to handle crossfunctional activities and issues
Work with vendors to resolve internal and customer issues in a timely manner
Maintain and update documentation of the network elements as and when changes occur

Job Qualifications

Skills:

Should have good knowledge on Networking fundamentals and from Network Security background.
Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
Routing protocol like BGP & OSFP
Configuration on switches for VLAN, inter VLAN routing, STP, VTP, HSRP, VPC
Working technical knowledge of network hardware such as
Switches, Load Balancers and F5 WAF.
Working knowledge of OEM
Cisco (IOS & NX-OS),
F5 Load Balancers.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Should handle incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge Management and should provide RCA.
Mandatory to work in 24*7 environment.
Good grasp of cloud computing platforms and architecture
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Should be able to handle the customers at any work level pressure.
Should have good communications skills (verbal and written)
Should be flexible and good team player
