- Monitor the quality of the production platform
- Undertake remediation and incident prevention actions
- Coordinate activities, particularly with the AXA BS Off -Shore team
- Collect, analyze, challenge and formalize the needs of business teams
- Designer and proposing realistic solutions, including budget estimates and planning
- Write general and detailed functional specifications and have them formally validated by the business lines, including among others.
- Data modeling
- Definition of import and export mappings
- Data quality checks
- Definition of workflows
- Screen layout
- Error and exception management
- Work with developers, perform technical-functional and non-regression tests and supervise configuration and deployment
- Support the trades during user acceptance and coordinate this phase
- Manage the relationship, communication and change management with users through training, workshops, etc.
- Work and collaborate with the Technology teams working on the platform or projects (Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, etc.), among others in preparation for production releases.
- Follow and respect AXA IM project methodology and governance
- You will interact with a wide variety of contacts such as our Data Management users, GBS teams in India, the teams from other support functions (middle office, Risk, Finance, Distribution), the Technology teams but also with third-party entities (AXA, State Street, Software editors, data providers).
- Mastery of SQL language – ability to both write & debug complex queries
- Excellent knowledge of 1 or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python or .Net)
- Knowledge of IT project delivery methodologies (V-cycles, Agile, etc.)
- Understanding of data design and modeling
- Recognized competence in the production and rigorous maintenance of high-quality documents (requirements collection, general and detailed functional specifications, user guide, recipe books)
- Knowledge of Shell/bash scripting
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica)
- Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Ctrl-M)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience
