**Job Description:
- *
  • Working with the Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and breaking the vision into executable goals, driven by the value to be created, that can be achieved in an iterative manner within your team
  • Maximise the value addition to the products
  • Use a variety of approaches and techniques (eg. user journeys, process mapping, use cases) to understand and communicate requirements

Key Responsibilities:


  • Where necessary, translate external technical requirements and specifications and articulate these into detailed user stories underpinned by a sound understanding of the business objectives
  • Own and evolve the team backlog, ensuring it is detailed, prioritised, well understood, up to date, properly estimated, relevant to delivery time scales. Collaborate with your team to write and manage user stories through to production
  • Communicate proficiently with the development team to explain the product features that are to be implemented
  • Collaborate within a crossfunctional team, listening, facilitating and contributing to drive a common purpose, make decisions and achieve goals as an empowered, autonomous team
  • Map and comprehend risks in delivering against goals alongside the Delivery Manager, reducing and resolving them where possible
  • Develop an understanding of the relevant customer and market needs for your product, and consistently reflect these within the team
  • Use domain modelling to design systems for maintainability, testability and incremental development, by understanding and describing entities and the relationships between them
  • Provide data driven analysis, communicating the pros and cons, plus short
- and long-term implications to make decisions in team

  • Ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, and managing any legal or ethical considerations relating to the product
  • Continuously promote best product practises to foster new ways of working and ensure we deliver successful products

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Demonstrable experience in the management and ongoing development of an IT software product
  • Embrace flexibility in requirements as you iterate and learn, whilst balancing the ability for the team to deliver value
  • Eager to translate goals and needs into tangible work for your team, translate and convey complex information simply
  • Comfortable communicating with stakeholders, facilitating ceremonies, and proactively managing divergent views to drive to an outcome
  • Experience in lean and agile development, within customercentric, datainformed, qualityobsessed, crossfunctional delivery teams, and eager to coach Product team members in this area
  • Ability to drive a culture of collaboration and usercentricity with a clear focus on our intended customer outcomes and achieve commercial targets
  • Proficient at taking insights from analytics to inform next steps and presenting clear commercial data
