CDP - NORTH INDIAN CUISINE / INDIAN BREADS

Roles & Responsibilities

  • In charge of specified section/area of the Kitchen
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting highquality dishes/materials within the specialty section
  • Ensure the standard and the set recipe is followed in the production process
  • Providing the correct quality and quantity of prepared or preprepared food to customers
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
  • Ensure food safety and temperature controls like cooking temperatures, packing & dispatch temperatures.
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety, food hygiene practices
  • Managing and training any Cooks & Assistant Cooks
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
  • Should monitor the inventory of all materials including food materials and equipment
  • Should be responsible for equipment maintenance and periodic preventive maintenance.
  • Responsible for area cleaning & hygiene standards.

Experience

  • Minimum one year relevant experience
  • Should have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in various sections of the kitchen

Education

  • 3 Year Hospitality / Hotel Management or equivalent degree.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification for FSSAI standard
  • Able to read, write & speak in English

Knowledge / Skill

  • Should have the knowledge and working skill in various sections of the kitchen
  • Should know various cuisine and equipment
  • Team player
  • Selfmotivated
  • Wastage management
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Working experience in various kitchen equipment
  • Experience with dangerous equipment such as knives
  • Understandable level of English spoken and written

Salary:
₹380, ₹420,000.00 per year
