We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Teach For India, Kolkata, as an Intern for Alumni Engagement and Career Partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing quality education to all children in India and making a meaningful impact in the lives of our alumni.

Duration:
Two-month internship

Responsibilities:

Teach For India's roadmap for the next ten years is to transform the lives of 1 in 10 children from low-income communities in our regions. The only way we can do this is by unlocking the potential of our Alumni to impact large numbers through their work and by retaining them in the region. Your role, as outlined below, is instrumental to achieving our North Start Vision for the region.

Alumni Database Curation:

Data collection of Alumni in the region such as location, geography, current occupation, professional interests, and any other data deemed valuable for the database.
Organize and curate the collected data into a comprehensive and wellstructured database.

Data Visualization and One-Pager Creation:

Utilize creative data visualization tools and techniques(pie chart, canva, etc) to represent the collected alumni data in an engaging and visually appealing manner.

Organisational Mapping:

Research and compile a list of these organizations, along with their profiles and key information.
Identify and connect with at least one Point of Contact (POC) in each organization to foster a recruitment partnership.

Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate program.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in data collection, organization, and analysis.
Familiarity with Canva
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data curation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for education, social impact, and community engagement.
Familiarity with Teach For India's mission and values is a plus.
