    Description
    Overview The PurchaseManager plays a crucial role in our organization by overseeing theprocurement process ensuring the timely acquisition of goods andservices and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Theyare responsible for optimizing purchasing strategies to minimizecosts maximize efficiency and maintain high qualitystandards.KeyResponsibilities
    • Develop andimplement procurement strategies to meet cost and qualitytargets.
    • Identify and evaluate potentialsuppliers based on cost quality and deliveryspeed.
    • Negotiate contracts and prices withsuppliers to achieve favorable terms andconditions.
    • Monitor inventory levels andcollaborate with the inventory management team to prevent stockoutsand overstock situations.
    • Oversee theprocurement of raw materials equipment and services required forproduction.
    • Manage relationships with suppliersand resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Analyzemarket trends and pricing to make informed purchasingdecisions.
    • Ensure compliance with procurementregulations and ethical standards.
    • Collaboratewith other departments to understand their purchasing needs anddevelop effective procurementprocesses.
    • Implement costsaving initiatives andbudget controls.
    • Identify opportunities forprocess improvements and implement bestpractices.
    • Participate in the development oflongterm purchasing strategies aligned with companygoals.
    • Provide regular reports and updates onpurchasing activities and performancemetrics.
    • Lead mentor and train the purchasingteam to enhance their skills andefficiency.
    RequiredQualifications
    • Bachelor s degree inBusiness Administration Supply Chain Management or relatedfield.
    • Proven experience in procurementmanagement or a similar role.
    • Understanding ofsupply chain management and logisticsconcepts.
    • Strong negotiation and contractmanagement skills.
    • Knowledge of procurementbest practices and industry trends.
    • Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingabilities.
    • Proficiency in use of procurementsoftware and tools.
    • Ability to work underpressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strongorganizational and time managementskills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a teameffectively.
    • Familiarity with budgeting andfinancial principles.
    • Keen attention to detailand accuracy in work.
    • Understanding of legaland ethical considerations inprocurement.
    • Certifications in procurement andsupply chain management are aplus.
