    What are we looking for?

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a growth-mindedproduct/offering manager to join our team and accelerate new productdevelopment, with a focus on driving new business growth in India

    What will you be doing?
    The key deliverable for this role is to build an India-ledproduct portfolio with a special focus on new offerings across the energy &sustainability vertical. You will be the customer-facingleader for all India opportunities for this vertical. Doing thissuccessfully requires a techno-commercial mindset, the ability to identifysectors of opportunity, interface with customers at senior & executivelevels, and translate critical market needs into new products & solutions. Inthis role, you will own delivery of current year annual operating plan for yourportfolio as well as delivery of an NPI roadmap for the 3-year strategicplanning period.

    Map the market : Identify and prioritize focus areasalong the value chain by understanding emerging market & technology trends,and recommend which growth opportunities must be picked up for development.

    Understand customer needs : For the focus vertical, build relationshipsthat will help Honeywell grow its presence in the Indian market. Engagewith top 3-5 potential customers/players to gather critical problem statements& needs, and identify opportunities to differentiate with new Honeywell products& solutions.

    Develop business cases: For each new product/solution idea, size the market opportunity, define customersegmentation & willingness to pay value-based prices, and determine competitivelandscape. Use data to assess business viability and create compelling,high-value business cases.

    Define value propositions& product roadmaps: Create offering roadmaps bydefining minimum viable offerings by prioritizing customer needs andtranslating them into actionable product requirements that deliver quantifiablecustomer value.

    Own the end-to-end offering portfolio: Build & drive portfolio acrossthe offering lifecycle from ideation to innovation and execution tocommercialization/first revenue, owning the market success of new offerings.

    Collaboratecross-functionally: Engage with local and global stakeholders forbusiness alignment, and with cross-functional teams at every stage of the development,execution & commercialization process.

    This is a high-visibility rolewithin the E4E team and will also involve managing pitches & reviews withsenior leadership in India and globally.

    Domain expertise:

  • Solid front line understanding of and experience with the energy & sustainable technology vertical, including a good understanding of new/clean energy pathways, renewable fuels & technologies, technologies that enable circularity, and energy transformation.
  • Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in product management, developing & marketing new offerings preferably with product/technology companies
  • Conducting market research & market mapping with white space analysis
  • Sizing market with TAM, SAM, SOD estimations & building business cases
  • Engaging with key customers, industry, and ecosystem partners to understand market needs, and developing partnerships for co-innovation, co-development, and/or co-marketing
  • Ideating with customers & technology teams that resulted in building credible product roadmaps and delivering business growth
  • Collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix environment to drive business decisions and program execution

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • MBA or other business degree or equivalent industry experience
