    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Review IT security architecture, 3rd Party vendor security assessment and Product evaluations.
    • Leads the design and development of security architectures for different types of cloud and cloud/hybrid systems.
    • Identifies potential risks and develops backup plans proactively and reviews from time to time to ensure risk mitigation tactics are aligned.
    • Providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for the function and liaising closely with other managers.
    • Leads the preparation and authorizes the implementation of necessary information security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines, in conjunction with the Security Committee.
    • Leads the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance with internal security policies and applicable laws and regulations.
    • Leads information security risk assessments and controls selection activities.
    • Technology reviews includes Architecture understanding, Evaluation of new technologies, Build of security technical controls and Team coordination.
    • Clearly articulates the Risks along with Mitigations controls to Management in Organization accepted Risk Assessment reports.

    Skills and knowledge expectations:

    • Experience in designing and/or implementing an end-to-end cloud-based solutions (SaaS, PaaS or IaaS), especially in integrating cloud solutions with on premise solutions (hybrid cloud).
    • Understanding of security solutions in cloud environments across various security domains like Identity & Access Management, Security Monitoring, data protection (encryption, tokenization).
    • Knowledge on Networks: LAN, WAN, SDN, NFV, Proxy Servers, Network Infrastructure Services (DNS, DHCP, CA, Directory Services), Load Balancing, VPN technologies, SSL certificates and Firewalls.
    • Knowledge of various control and risk management concepts and methodologies in latest technologies like: Cloud, Mobility, virtualization, etc.
    • Knowledge on BYOD concepts, including EMM, MAM and MDM related solutions and polices.
    • Should have good understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and Application Security Verification Standard.
    • Knowledge of information security "best practices," such as ISO security standards, PCI DSS, SAS 70, ISAE SoC 1 Type II, NIST Cyber Security framework and other related standards, HIPPA, Data Protection, Privacy and COBiT, etc.

    Certifications:

    • Preferred if the candidate has Cyber Security certifications such as SANS, OWASP, CCSK (Cloud Security Alliance), CISSP, CCSP, CISM or any other standard institutes or certification bodies.
