    Role Summary

    Role Description

    We are searching for a skilled Data Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud data migration development, particularly in the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in supporting enterprise applications and familiarity with Cloud-based database engineering platforms.

    • Design and implement high-volume data ingestion solutions to gather data from diverse sources.
    • Create data integrations between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
    • Utilize appropriate tools for cloud data lake development and deployment.
    • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure to meet present and future business requirements.
    • Participate in technical design, application building, configuration, testing, and deployment.
    • Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving issues, along with providing workaround solutions or escalating them as needed.
    • Prepare and update technical documentation as required.

    Core/Must-have Skills

    Key skills include:

    • AWS Cloud Data Engineering with Databricks
    • Hands-on experience in Cloud data migration on AWS using Databricks and managing cloud-based database systems
    • Proficiency in Apache Kafka streaming processing and Python scripting
    • Expertise in Data Modeling, DB design, and performance tuning
    • Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres, Autosys/Control-M/Job Schedulers

    Work Schedule

    Hybrid: 3-4 days working from the office
