  • Design hiring plans for all hotel departments based on seasonal needs
  • Manage sourcing & recruitment of staff. Interview and assess job candidates, Onboard new hires and conduct new colleague orientation program
  • Manage compensation and benefits plans
  • Manage employee attendance and working schedules, including paid time off, overtime and breaks
  • Maintain employee records through WINHMS software
  • Manage Staff accommodation, food and transport facilities for all employees
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs. Coach, counsel employees
  • Act as the point of contact when employees have queries or job-related issues
  • Ensure hotel staff complies with relevant health and safety regulations

  • Ensure appraisals are carried out for every employee every 12 months as per hotels management policy, and review all appraisals and follows up on development needs.

  • Facilitate Shangri-La Group vision, purpose, business philosophy, values, Shangri-La Care and other core service skills and knowledge training
  • Conduct monthly orientation for new hires and train existing employees based on training need analysis
