Aug 2020 - Present : Computational Modeling Engineer - Applied Materials, Bangalore, India
- Achieved real-time system diagnostics/control & optimized prod-
uct development cycles by building state-of-the-art Thermal Dig-
ital Twins (DTs) for semiconductor manufacturing processes. - Supporting hardware development through 2D and 3D CFD simulations
to study heat transfer, flow and reactions in improving energy ef-
ficiency, gas delivery system design and chemical deposition for
chip manufacturing. - Developed Hybrid Modeling techniques for DTs- Physics Based
Network Models for Heat Transfer between different chamber
components, Modeling Surface-2-Surface Radiative Heat Transfer
using 3D View Factor Calculations, Statistical/Regression Based
Models for faster real-time digital virtual simulation response. Re-
duced Order Models for better turnaround times (In Progress). - Achieved within 2% accuracy using DT results in comparison with
real-time transient on-field data. Scripting & automating data
exchange between different hybrid models. Integrating simula-
tions with real-time Sensor input data, to provide live actionable
insights and improve process efficiency/yield.

- Devised 2 times faster, accurate and robust simulation method-
ologies using Simerics-MP+/PumpLinx solver for different appli-
cations:
– Multiphase: Automobile coolant filling, gear splashing, ma-
rine hull hydrodynamics
– Conjugate heat transfer: Heat exchangers, e-motors, engine
piston cooling, PCB thermal performance
– Fluid Machines: Centrifugal and Positive Displacement
