    Description
    Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced and skilled Director of Technology to join our team at a leading healthcare benefits management company. As the Director of Technology, you will have a key role in shaping our technology strategy, fostering innovation, and overseeing product development and delivery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, is essential to ensure the successful implementation of our technology projects.

    The core responsibilities will involve technology evaluation, prototyping, end-to-end product development, and team management. A crucial aspect of the role is guiding and training engineers along with engaging with various stakeholders such as business owners, leadership, and customers.


    Qualification:

    Qualification Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

    Responsibilities:

    • Platform Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance platform solutions.
    • Technology Evaluation: Research and assess technology options to keep the platform up-to-date with industry trends.
    • System Integration: Define integration strategies for seamless data flow within the platform ecosystem.
    • Scalability and Performance: Implement strategies to ensure optimal platform performance and scalability.
    • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to development teams and drive continuous improvement in platform development processes.
    • Documentation and Communication: Create architectural documentation and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-tech stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders for effective platform development.

    Skills:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Extensive experience in software development and architecture, focusing on scalable platforms.
    • Proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and cloud computing.
    • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud platforms.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
    • Experience with database technologies, frontend development frameworks, and infrastructure technologies.
    • Strong analytical and design skills along with good organizational abilities.
