    About the Role
    As a Systems Engineer at Jolera, you will play a vital role in designing, configuring, and managing state-of-the-art virtualized infrastructures utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix technologies. Your mastery of Windows Server environments and experience with multi-vendor, multi-site setups will be essential in providing seamless solutions. Additionally, you will have the chance to optimize AWS infrastructure and collaborate closely with MSPs and IT solution providers, offering cutting-edge managed services to address diverse client needs.     Responsibilities
    As a Virtualization and Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer. Crafting, setting up, and managing virtualized infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
    • Utilizing extensive knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, like Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022, to manage Windows-based workloads in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments.
    • Setting up and managing system environments, covering aspects like:
    - Designing, deploying, and managing computing and storage technologies such as Cisco UCS/HyperFlex, VMware, Citrix, Windows, Azure, and AWS.
    - Establishing and overseeing the architecture of all components, both physically and logically. o Administering Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, ADFS.
    - Diagnosing and resolving complex configuration and troubleshooting issues in multi-vendor, multi-site infrastructures.
    - Ensuring fail-over capabilities between critical operational components and data centers.

    • Providing comprehensive systems administration on AWS infrastructure, aiding in AWS product support like AWS Console root user administration, Key Management, EC2 Compute, S3 Storage, AWS Networking & Content Delivery (VPC, ELB, etc.), Identity & Access Management, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, Cost, and Usage Reports.
    • Assessing EC2 instance and S3 storage performance and adjusting sizes to meet performance criteria and manage expenses.
    • Experience in deploying provisioning services such as MCS and PVS, Citrix DaaS, and NetScaler.
    • Proficient in Cisco HCI, including Hyperflex, UCS chassis, blades, and FIs.

    Competencies:
    The ideal candidate should demonstrate competency in various technologies, protocols, products, and solutions, including:

    • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
    • Server virtualization, desktop virtualization, and application virtualization
    • Server/Compute (Cisco UCS/HyperFlex, Dell PowerEdge/Vxrail, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS)
    • Rackmount, blade chassis, converged, and hyper-converged infrastructure
    • Storage (Dell EMC VMAX, VNX, Unity, hybrid arrays, all-flash arrays, FC, iSCSI, CIFS, NFS)
    • Backup and Replication / Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (Veeam Backup and Replication, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Azure Site Recovery)
    • Microsoft Stack (Azure, Exchange, Office 365)

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in a managed service provider, value-added reseller, or solution provider environment supporting multiple customers.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
